Plot In 1984, military officer Prakash Anand (Haasan) is on duty to escort a prisoner, Raghu (Yeshwanth), in the Himalayas when his jeep, along with Raghu and his associate Subash (Abbas), is ambushed by a group of terrorists led by Colonel Nath (Yashpal Sharma). The army officer and Raghu escape from the situation with Raghu's aid. The terrorist colonel warns Prakash that he has caused a lot of trouble to the Government by capturing Raghu. When Prakash returns to his base at the Indian embassy in Johannesburg, South Africa, he learns that Subash was killed in the attack. While meeting with Raghu's fiancée, Raghu reveals that he has returned to India with his family and his former intelligence contacts, and is attempting to start a new life, free from the shadows.
